Joanna de Saulles
On the 21st Novemember 2013 LDC lost one of its team members after she fought a four-year battle with cancer.
Jo joined LDC in 2006 following two years at Lloyds TSB Group working in mid-market lending and debt recovery in London and New York. She obtained her degree in Business and Economics from Oxford Brookes University.
Whilst at LDC Jo became an integral member of the LDC family, fully participating in both the cultural and commercial aspects of our business. She completed a number of full and half marathons, supported the local charities – particularly Camp Mohawk and Maggies, and played a full part in the development of our business at a crucial time.
During an incredible fight Jo continued to fully take part in life at LDC. Memorably she attended a number of our business Away Days following bouts of surgery and illness including our Blackpool Away Day when Jo insisted on going on the Big One despite medical orders to the contrary. She also continued to support LDC’s chosen charity events and this included riding in a support vehicle (and using her considerable photography skills) on the Tour de LDC cycling event.
Jo finally succumbed to her illness on Friday 21st November at 6.30am, surrounded by her family. She will be missed by all of us, but never forgotten – she will always be part of the LDC family.
Jo de Saulles, Rest in Peace
