Chris has significant experience across mid-market private equity, working with management teams to improve business performance and maximise shareholder returns. Chris enjoys getting under the skin of a business, understanding the key drivers of value and working alongside management to identify and deliver practical improvements.
Having worked at LDC between 2016 and 2023, Chris rejoined the Portfolio Team in 2026, following a three-year period at Gresham House where he was Deputy Head of the Sustainable Infrastructure Fund. Throughout his career, he has worked across a broad range of businesses and sectors, combining financial analysis with a hands-on approach to supporting management teams. He particularly enjoys the variety of private equity, from learning about new businesses and industries to working through complex situations and helping management teams deliver their plans.
Outside work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of the outdoors. He is a keen skier and enjoys hiking in the Peak District. He’s also a keen Nottingham Forest fan. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering which, after 25 years, he finally put into practical use whilst building a Caterham sports car in his garage.
