Nicola has more than 15 years’ experience in UK mid-market private equity and takes a collaborative, hands-on approach to working with management teams. At LDC, she partners with portfolio leaders to help businesses realise their growth ambitions. She also brings deep experience and long-standing relationships across the healthcare sector.
Before joining LDC, Nicola spent 12 years at Epiris, where she was an Investment Partner and a member of the Investment Committee, with responsibility for the firm’s origination activity in healthcare. She worked across new investments and portfolio management, serving on eight company boards and working alongside management teams to navigate strategic change, pursue growth opportunities and achieve successful exits.
Nicola began her private equity career at Phoenix Equity Partners, following an earlier role in PwC’s Strategy Group. She holds a first-class degree in Natural Sciences from Pembroke College, Cambridge, and is a former Chair of the Level 20 Future Leaders Committee.
