Dan leads LDC’s team in Yorkshire, based in Leeds, and is responsible for identifying and supporting ambitious management teams looking to grow their business with the backing of a private equity partner.
Dan joined LDC in 2015 and has since worked on number of significant partnerships supporting a range of the region’s fastest growing businesses. This includes the carve outs of BCIS and Texecom as well as investments in ARC Building Solutions, Bullen Healthcare, UniHomes, Boston Energy, Elovate, Pelsis and Pagabo Group.
He has also delivered the exit of Global Autocare, following a six-year successful partnership, the exit and re-investment of Unihomes, the sale of architectural software business NBS to TA-Backed Byggfakta Group and the AIM listing of Team17.
After graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Economics in 2004, Dan started his career at KPMG, spending a decade working principally in corporate finance where he advised on transactions across a wide range of sectors, including TMT, healthcare and business support services.
