Background:
Having graduated from Exeter University with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, Rob started his career with Halliburton, where he was involved in several oil and gas projects, the Halliburton Dresser merger and a secondment to the British Embassy in Norway. Later Rob undertook an MBA at Cranfield School of Management and then spent seven years as a performance improvement consultant with AT Kearney and Alix Partners, where he was a founder member of their UK Performance Improvement Practice. Rob has led a number of business improvement programmes for blue chip companies including ICI, BP, ChevronTexaco, RWE npower and several private equity owned businesses. Rob joined LDC in January 2008.
Hobbies:
Robert enjoys spending time with his young family and is a keen water skier, wind surfer and kite surfer.
