LDC exits IDSL to PTSG
17 Aug 2026
Our partnership with LDC has helped to cement our position as a market leader. The LDC team has backed our ambitions from day one with the capital and strategic guidance we needed to expand rapidly, all without losing the commitment to exceptional service we're known for. "
Ash continues: “The continued support of Lloyds Bank has also been invaluable, including introductions across Lloyds Banking Group that have allowed us to grow our customer base. We’re looking forward to accelerating our growth as part of PTSG and continuing to deliver the highest standards of fire safety compliance.”
David Bains, Partner and Head of East Midlands and East of England at LDC, added: “Ash and the management team have built an outstanding business with a strong culture, clear vision and exceptional reputation as an employer in the East Midlands. We’re proud to have partnered with the team to execute a strategy that enabled the Group to grow at pace organically and through M&A. PTSG is a natural home for IDSL and we wish the team every success for the future.”
The acquisition by PTSG provides IDSL with a strong platform for its next stage of development. PTSG intends to continue to invest in the business and apply its proven operating model to support growth, while retaining the specialist expertise, customer focus and entrepreneurial culture that have underpinned IDSL’s success.
LDC has a successful track record in the business services sector, having invested £671m into 16 businesses over the last decade. LDC’s current business services portfolio spans a diverse range of businesses including Eagle Eye Innovations, a provider of drone training, operating and consulting services, and Stonbury, a leading UK water and environmental sustainability specialist.
The transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
