This is a new consulting model for the AI era.”

Partha Chakraborty
Co-Founder, INNOVERV

Q&A

How have you disrupted the market?

Jo: We have three plays: advisory, technology and AI. We offer flexibility and don’t have the overheads, infrastructure, or middle management layer of large global firms. Our team is made up of young, tech-savvy consultants alongside experienced, senior leaders. We saw that AI would revolutionise consulting and we started building tools from day one.

Partha: My background is in tech and Jo’s is in process and operations. Together, we make an interesting partnership at the intersection of technology and business that attacks problems in a fresh, unique way.

How have you attracted talent?

Jo: Everyone in the company is a shareholder, which creates real energy and drive.

Partha: We recruited 20 people from the Big Four with a campaign called “Become a Mollionaire”, based on our star consultant Mollie who will be a millionaire by the age of 30, along with many of our employees who are all shareholders. We have over 300 people now globally and hope to have over 500 people plus AI agents by 2030. We believe our 401st Innovervian will be an AI agent but humans will always be the masters of the machine. We offer flexibility to everyone from young mums to senior people who want to work part-time. Whilst, the big global consulting firms are whipping their people to come into their London offices every day.

How international is this business?

Partha: We are headquartered in London but 80 per cent of our revenue comes from outside the UK. Across Europe, we have focused on countries that use English as the language of business, such as the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Switzerland. In the US, our clients are mainly on the East Coast.

Jo: It gives me great pride that our baby, which is still so young, is gaining global recognition.
