Dan leads LDC’s team in Yorkshire, based in Leeds, and is responsible for identifying and supporting ambitious management teams looking to grow their business with the backing of a private equity partner.
Dan joined LDC in 2015 and has since worked on number of significant investments supporting a range of the region’s fastest growing businesses. He led LDC’s carve outs of BCIS, Texecom and investments in UniHomes, Boston Energy, Elovate, The 55 Group and the £31.8m investment in architectural software business NBS, together with the subsequent exit to TA-backed Byggfakta Group.
He also supported LDC’s multi-million-pound investment in pest control manufacturer Pelsis, the investment in Global Autocare as well as LDC’s investment and subsequent AIM listing of Team17. He currently sits on the board of Cellhire, Global Autocare, Elovate and Texecom.
After graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Economics in 2004, Dan started his career at KPMG, spending a decade working principally in corporate finance where he advised on transactions across a wide range of sectors, including TMT, healthcare and business support services.
