Richard is responsible for identifying management teams across the North West looking to grow their business with the support of a private equity partner. He works side-by-side with management throughout the investment partnership to help them realise their growth ambitions.
He joined LDC in 2013, and has since supported on some of the region’s most successful growth stories including Mitrefinch, Ellis Whittam, Waterfall, Inprova, WCCTV and current portfolio including CTI, PAM, and LOVE. With Richard’s support, WCCTV expanded rapidly in its domestic and US markets and launched a suite of innovative new products and services. It almost doubled its workforce and grew revenue threefold to £50m, with LDC exiting to Arcus Infrastructure Partners in 2026.
Richard is a University of Birmingham graduate, with a degree in Biological Sciences. He began his career at Andersen, and subsequently worked for Deloitte, where he gained his ACA.
