She credits The King’s Trust Enterprise Programme with helping turn her idea into a business. Backed by LDC, the programme set her up with a mentor, business-planning and cashflow forecasting advice, and £5,000 in funding – which enabled her to open a pop-up during this year’s London Fashion Week.
Now a young ambassador for The King’s Trust, Parmar recently attended its 50th anniversary garden party at Buckingham Palace. “Never in a million years did I think I’d be shaking hands with The King 18 months after launching my business,” she says.
Her ambitions include partnerships across gaming, AI and robotics, as well as stocking in retailers such as Harrods, Selfridges and Bloomingdale’s: “My mission is to build the largest luxury womenswear label globally that pioneers digital fashion.”
