LDC exits Mi Hub following global growth drive

LDC, the leading private equity investor, has exited its investment in Mi Hub, the global uniform solutions business, to Sullivan Street Partners (SSP) following a six-year partnership.
Midlands-based Mi Hub sources ready-to-wear, bespoke and technical uniforms for businesses of all sizes. It operates through four brands: Dimensions, Alexandra and Yaffy in the UK, alongside Affinity in the US. Today, more than five million people globally go to work in uniforms sourced by the business.
LDC backed Mi Hub in 2019 following a corporate carve-out from US-based Tailored Brands. Since then, Mi Hub has achieved significant international expansion. The business acquired Affinity Apparel in 2022, and, in 2026, expanded its North American presence further with the launch of Mi Hub Canada. Mi Hub has also grown its client base substantially over the period and continues to work with household brands globally including many major retailers and airlines.
In 2024, Mi Hub’s Royal Warrant of Appointment to the Royal Household, first granted in 2002, was granted for a further five years, a clear testament to its unwavering commitment to quality, service, and excellence.
Elsewhere, LDC has helped Mi Hub to further strengthen its management team with Hayley Brooks, who was Managing Director of the Dimensions brand at the time of LDC’s investment, promoted to CEO in 2022. Over the course of the investment, LDC’s Value Creation Partners (VCP) team supported the management team in reviewing the operating structure in both the UK and US and implementing ERP as well as providing ongoing support to help the business to improve its ESG credentials. The business achieved its 2030 carbon reduction target five years early while earning EcoVadis Silver Medal, Achilles Silver, and CDP B rating for Climate.
The exit was led by LDC’s East Midlands and East of England’s office headed by partner David Bains. LDC’s original investment was led by John Green.

LDC has a successful track record in the business services sector, having invested £671m into 16 businesses over the last decade. LDC’s current business services portfolio spans a diverse range of businesses including Eagle Eye Innovations, a provider of drone training, operating and consulting services, and Frankham Group, a multidisciplinary, property and construction consultancy.
