Joe leads technology investment for LDC in London. He is responsible for sourcing and leading transactions, supporting ambitious management teams to grow their business with the backing of a private equity partner.
Joe joined LDC in 2019 and has since led investment into some of LDC’s most successful growth stories, including EdTech specialist Texthelp, full service digital marketing business Croud, wireless internet service provider Wifinity and capital markets technology firm Etrading Software. He has supported these businesses to expand internationally, accelerate organic sales and complete strategic M&A. Joe led the exit of Texthelp to Five Arrows, supported the scaling and exit of MedComms specialist Lucid Group to ICG and the exit of Croud to ECI Partners, each on the back of strong growth in revenue and earnings.
Joe has more than 20 years’ experience delivering technology transactions. Prior to LDC, he was a Partner at Cumulus Asset Management where he led Principal Investments globally. Joe has an MA in Natural Sciences and an MSci in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. He is a CFA charterholder.
