Colin helps management teams in Scotland unlock their potential and realise their growth ambitions with the support of private equity investment.
Since joining LDC in 2014, he has supported a number of ambitious Scottish businesses on their growth plans. This includes leading LDC’s investment partnership with Aberdeen optical group, Duncan & Todd. Colin sits on the business’s board as a non-executive director and has helped the management team to grow the group’s national footprint with four acquisitions since the original investment he also supported the £20million+ management buyout of PDG Helicopters, currently helping the Inverness company to invest in its fleet and increase capacity.
Colin played a key role in LDC's two year partnership with CMS Windows, where the business increased revenues by 25% following a period of organic growth, Colin led the sale of CMS Windows to Maven Capital Partners in March 2019.
Colin joined Bank of Scotland’s graduate programme after gaining a degree in Accounting and Finance from Nottingham Trent University. He has worked in a variety of debt financing and private equity roles for the bank in the UK and Europe, helping manage Lloyds Banking Group’s £20billion portfolio of assets.
