BOXPARK was founded in 2011 by Roger Wade and has evolved from being the world’s first pop-up mall to one of London’s most high-profile branded dining, leisure and retail developments.
LDC backed the business in 2021 to support the management team’s national expansion plans to launch new sites in London and in major regional cities.
Expansion across the UK
In addition to its existing London locations, BOXPARK launched its first development outside of the capital in Liverpool in 2024.

In March 2025, BOXPARK appointed Matt Snell as CEO. He spearheaded the roll out of its brand new site, BOXHALL City, in April 2025. Located in the heart of Liverpool Street, London, the new food hall brings together a mix of 13 food and drink concepts in the restored Metropolitan Arcade.
