Another stellar night of fundraising at LDC's 12th annual charity quiz

LDC’s 12th annual charity quiz was a night to remember on 15th November, with over £122,000 raised to help support our charity partners from across the country.

Gathering at venues near our network of regional offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Aberdeen, Nottingham, Reading and Cardiff, over 160 teams put their knowledge to the test and battled it out in the pursuit of this year’s crown.

Despite stiff competition, HMT in Reading and Lincoln International in London jointly won and both were crowned 2017 champion! CIPHR in Reading very closely followed to be placed second.

Generous team donations and ‘on the night’ fundraising events, including raffles and auctions, raised over £122,000 for our charities, bringing our total quiz fundraising tally to over £1.2million since it began in 2005.

All funds gathered on the night will be distributed to our local LDC charity partners - Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Camp Mohawk, Friends of ANCHOR, Francis House, London Air Ambulance, Maggie’s (Yorkshire), When You Wish Upon A Star and Mental Health UK.

We’d like to thank everyone who attended for helping us raise an outstanding amount for such deserving causes, and we look forward to welcoming you all again next year to help raise even more money to support the fantastic work these organisations do.
