The process

Nominations open on the 19th March and close at 5pm on the 11th May. Candidates may be invited for interview with a representative from The Top 50 team. Successful candidates will be notified in June and interviewed by enterprise journalist Rebecca Burn-Callander for their profile article. The Top 50 will be serialised alphabetically over five weeks starting in September in The Telegraph newspaper.

A panel of judges will also select the UK’s Most Ambitious Business Leader – the person who best defines the leadership qualities required in today’s business climate and economy – to be revealed at a celebration event in London on the 9th October.
