Mini-Cam specialises in the manufacture and distribution of Pipeline Inspection Systems.

Mini-Cam's systems include Crawler Systems and Push Cameras which are supplied to major utilities and their contractor supply chain in order to fulfil increasing demand for inspection activity.

In July 2015 LDC backed the management buyout of Mini-Cam. The investment will assist the business in continuing its investment in product innovation and drive international revenue growth in existing and new markets worldwide.

In May 2016 Mini-Cam announced the acquisition of a second premises to support the company’s continued international growth which also more than doubled Mini-Cam’s operating space. The expansion will enable the business to scale-up production and responds to increased demand from international markets for its products, notably USA and Germany.

In September 2016 Mini-Cam announced growth of overall revenues by 40% from £7.6m to £10.6m in the 12 months to January 31. 2016 also saw its exports increase to account for 48% of overall turnover, up from 41% the previous year. The firm now has distributors in 31 countries and expects to further expand its network during the coming months.

In 2017 Mini-Cam was recognised for exceptional international growth in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100.
