Mini-Cam's systems include Crawler Systems and Push Cameras which are supplied to major utilities and their contractor supply chain in order to fulfil increasing demand for inspection activity.
Mini-Cam specialises in the manufacture and distribution of Pipeline Inspection Systems.
In July 2015 LDC backed the management buyout of Mini-Cam. The investment will assist the business in continuing its investment in product innovation and drive international revenue growth in existing and new markets worldwide.
In May 2016 Mini-Cam announced the acquisition of a second premises to support the company’s continued international growth which also more than doubled Mini-Cam’s operating space. The expansion will enable the business to scale-up production and responds to increased demand from international markets for its products, notably USA and Germany.
In September 2016 Mini-Cam announced growth of overall revenues by 40% from £7.6m to £10.6m in the 12 months to January 31. 2016 also saw its exports increase to account for 48% of overall turnover, up from 41% the previous year. The firm now has distributors in 31 countries and expects to further expand its network during the coming months.
In 2017 Mini-Cam was recognised for exceptional international growth in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100.
