Three LDC-backed businesses recognised in Sunday Times Top Track 250

LDC-backed Addo, United Living and NEC Group have all been named in the Sunday Times Top Track 250, which recognises Britain’s mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales.

It marks the second year in a row Addo Food Group has made the table, climbing one place from 92nd to 91st in this year’s rankings. LDC backed the secondary buyout of the business, the UK’s leading chilled savoury pastry producer, in April 2017 to support its growth strategy.

It is also the second consecutive year building contractor United Living has been recognised. The business finished 135th in 2017 and rose to 106th in this year’s table. LDC backed the business in 2014 to help it realise its growth ambitions. It is now a significant player in the refurbishment market having won major framework contracts with CityWest Homes, Wolverhampton Homes and Clarion Housing Group.

NEC Group is the third LDC-backed business to be recognised by the Sunday Times after it placed 186th. It is the first time the business has made the rankings after posting sales of £162m and operating profits of over £43m for the year ending March 2018.
