LDC’s Yorkshire team was recognised for its outstanding year at the Yorkshire Dealmaker Awards, taking home a trio of awards.
LDC won ‘National/International Deal of the Year’ for the management buyout of Pelsis, the leading European manufacturer of branded pest control products. The deal was praised for involving raft of regional advisers from across Yorkshire.
Dan Smith picked up the ‘Emerging Dealmaker of the Year’ award after working on a string of impressive transactions, including Pelsis, PAW Holdings and MKM Building Supplies.
The team also took home ‘Exit of the Year’ for its sale of MKM Building Supplies to Bain Capital, with the award being attributed to the highly complex sale process which involved 80 branch managers.
These accolades are the latest in a number of award wins for LDC, which reflect the strength of the firm’s proposition, the performance of its portfolio and the management teams that sit behind them.
Over the past 12 months LDC’s Yorkshire team has supported Patrick Parsons, the multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy firm with a multi-million-pound development capital investment to drive the its UK expansion and backed the management buyout of Pelsis.
