Double award win for LDC

We’ve had an action packed year so far, with some landmark investments and inspiring growth stories across our portfolio. This was recognised at the Yorkshire Dealmaker Awards, when we were named Private Equity Team of the Year.

The award comes on the back of increased deal activity across Yorkshire and the North East, where we have deployed more than £80million of capital to support ambitious businesses. From our £16.5million investment in Team17 to the MBO of PAW Holdings, we’re helping management teams across the region to achieve their growth plans.

Our support of the MBO of Zyro and the simultaneous acquisition of Fisher Outdoor Leisure was also named Deal of the Year (£25m and above). The transaction created a combined group with sales of £70m and Zyro-Fisher is now one of the UK’s largest parts and accessories distributors to the cycling market.

These accolades are the latest in a number of award wins for LDC, which reflect the strength of our proposition, the performance of our portfolio businesses and the management teams behind them.

From the IPO of Joules being named Deal of the Year at the Midlands Dealmaker Awards to Forest Holidays being awarded Social Responsibility Management Team of the Year at the BVCA Awards, it’s been an exciting year and we’re looking forward to the next 12 months.
