Background: Kevan joined LDC in August 2005 from Ernst & Young where he was Head of Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions for the UK. He has over 17 years’ transactional experience as an advisor, investor and principal. Since 1998 he has been involved in over 75 deals and has led 25 private equity transactions with an aggregate value of £662million.

Hobbies: Kevan’s interests centre upon his family and when there’s time golf and football.

Adrian Willetts - Senior Director

Background: Adrian joined LDC in April 2007 from Bridgepoint where he had gained 16 years of private equity experience. The last 6 years were spent leading Bridgepoint's Birmingham office. He has managed numerous private equity transactions with an aggregate deal value of around £700 million.

Hobbies: Adrian enjoys spending time with his family. He is a long-suffering season ticket holder at Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. and also enjoys motorsport, swimming and travel, particularly if it can be coupled with an understanding of local wines.

James Austin - Investment Manager

Background: Following a degree in Electronic Engineering at Edinburgh University, James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton in Glasgow. After almost 10 years experience in private equity transactions he joined LDC in 2007 from RBS where he was a Director in the Corporate & Structured Finance Team in Reading.

Hobbies: James enjoys golf, rugby and on occasion a glass of red wine.

Joanna De Saulles - Investment Executive

Background: Jo joined LDC in 2006 having spent two years at Lloyds TSB working in mid-market lending and debt recovery in London and New York. She holds a degree in Business and Economics from Oxford Brookes University.

Hobbies: Jo is an enthusiastic traveller and enjoys most sports.

Paul Oldham - Director

Background: Paul Oldham has a degree in Economics and Accounting from Sheffield University. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before joining 3i. Paul spent 13 years in private equity with 3i and became Director of 3i's Cardiff and Bristol offices. In 2002 he joined Grant Thornton as Corporate Finance Partner in the South West, advising on M&A transactions. Paul joined LDC in April 2008 as Director of the Bristol office.

Hobbies: Paul enjoys travel and sport (football, tennis, golf and keep-fit).

Richard Stewart - Investment Director

Background: Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before joining their private equity lead advisory practice in 1999. During the next seven years Richard acted on over 20 transactions involving MBOs, development capital deals and refinancings. Richard joined LDC in July 2006.

Hobbies: Richard enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two young children and will turn his hand to DIY when he has to!

Steve Carle - Senior Director

Background: Following a Law Degree at Edinburgh University, Steven spent seven years working with 3i PLC in Edinburgh and Cambridge before moving to LDC in 1999.
