Scotland is LDC's newest regional team. The new team supports LDC's commitment to being the UK's most active mid-market private equity house in the £5million to £250million deal range. LDC already has a track record in Scotland, with recent private equity backed activity including the management buyout (MBO) of Lanarkshire-based engineering firm MB Aerospace from Motherwell Bridge, investment into Epi-V a specialist fund established to invest in emerging technology and service companies within the upstream oil and gas services sector, and the trade sale exit from Telecom Services Centres (TSC), Scotland's largest contact centre company. Craig Armour - Senior Director

Background: A former pupil of Marr College in Troon, Craig Armour holds an Honours Law Degree from Edinburgh University and is a Chartered Accountant. Since graduating, Craig has held positions with Arthur Andersen - 1983-88; James Gulliver Associates - 1988-90; Noble Grossart Limited - 1991-00 and Penta Capital - 2000 to 2007. Craig joined LDC in November 2007.
Hobbies: Married with three children, Craig lives in Edinburgh. He is a keen golfer and runner.

James Rodger - Director

Background: James graduated from Strathclyde University with an Honours Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He joined Arthur Andersen in 1988 and became partner in charge of Andersen's Private Equity business in Scotland. In the 6 years prior to joining LDC, James ran his own corporate finance boutique which specialised in mid-market buyouts and shareholder exit planning. James joined LDC in January 2008. He can be contacted on 07785 280842.
Hobbies: James can occasionally be seen on the golf course (!), and enjoys holidaying with his young family.
