Martin Draper - Managing Director

Background: Prior to joining LDC in November 2002, Martin was a Director at Bridgepoint, where he spent 9 years in their London, Manchester and Birmingham offices. He has experience of investing in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, specialist engineering, retail and IT services. Martin’s past and present non-executive board seats include Paragon Print & Packaging, Cable Management Group, American Golf, Electrium, MCM Electronics and Sealine.
Hobbies: Martin’s interests include tennis and golf (playing), football (West Bromwich Albion) and family.

Andy Lyndon - Investment Director

Background: Andy graduated with a First Class Accountancy/Finance degree, before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Birmingham. Andy subsequently spent 6 years within their Corporate Finance Department before joining LDC in August 2001.
Hobbies: Andy likes playing and watching sport, particularly golf, football and motorsport.

Chris Hurley - Investment Director

Background: Chris graduated from Salford University with a First Class Honours Degree in Business Economics in 1995, he then qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Robson Rhodes in 1997. Following a five-year stint with Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity Chris joined LDC in March 2004. Chris's investments and exits at LDC include American Golf, Cardsave, Paragon Print & Packaging, Eveden, Cable Management Group and TPN.
Hobbies: Chris's interests used to include football (playing and watching), golf and swimming - now they're looking after his twin daughters!

John Garner - Investment Director

Background: John graduated with an Economics degree from Sheffield University in 1994 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London. John subsequently spent nine years as a Corporate Finance advisor at KPMG before joining LDC on secondment in June 2006.
Hobbies: John enjoys playing football, golf and tennis and is a competent skiier.

Jon Addis - Investment Director

Background: Jon is a graduate of Aston University and a Chartered Accountant who worked for Andersen Corporate Finance for 4 years before joining Royal Bank Private Equity for a further 4 years. After this Jon spent over 2 years as Corporate Development Director of a private equity backed support services group before joining LDC in May 2005.
Hobbies: Jon's interests include watching most sports and playing both football and an extremely poor standard of golf.

Nick Bacon - Senior Director

Background: Nick's career in Venture Capital started in 1984 when he joined County Natwest in Birmingham. Following six successful years with County he moved to LDC in 1990. Over the last four years he has specialised on working with portfolio companies.
Hobbies: Nick enjoys tennis, golf and racquetball.

Paul Figgins - Investment Director

Background: Paul joined Arthur Andersen in 1994 before attending Nottingham University where he graduated in Industrial Economics. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen, Paul worked within the Transaction Services department before moving to Deloitte in August 2002 and joining LDC in December 2004. Paul's investments at LDC include Cardsave, Paragon Print & Packaging, Avery, Cable Management Group and Kimberly Access.
Hobbies: Paul's interests include watching rugby, tennis and playing a very poor standard of golf.

Steve Aston - Investment Director

Background: Prior to joining LDC in March 2007, Steve worked for both PwC and KPMG Transaction Services teams in the Midlands. Steve was also Group Finance Director at Doncasters Group where he was instrumental in refinancing the business and implementing the Group's tunraround strategy resulting in a succesful exit in 2006.
Hobbies: Steve's interests include cricket and football.
