Tim Farazmand - Managing Director

Background: Tim joined LDC in 2005. He has spent over 20 years in private equity with 3i, Royal Bank of Scotland and Catalyst Fund Management. Prior to joining 3i Tim worked for IBM.
Hobbies: Tim enjoys most sports (sadly watching rather than playing these days, and is a life-long Aston Villa fan) and music (listening rather than playing!). He also provides ‘labouring’ support to his wife Jackie’s garden design business.

Andy Kilborn - Investment Director

Background: Andy joined LDC in 2006. Previously Andy spent ten years with KPMG, mostly providing corporate finance advice to management teams on private equity transactions. Andy has a law degree from the University of Sussex and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Hobbies: Andy enjoys food, drink and tennis.

Anthony Francis - Investment Manager

Background: After graduating from Bristol University in Experimental Psychology, Anthony joined Ernst & Young in 2004 where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. During his time at Ernst & Young, Anthony worked in audit and then in transaction services. He joined LDC in November 2007.
Hobbies: Anthony enjoys playing football and tennis and ran the London Marathon in 2005. Anthony is also a keen England rugby fan.

Matthew Lee - Investment Manager

Background: Matthew joined LDC in January 2008. Previously Matthew spent two and a half years at N.M. Rothschild where he provided corporate finance advice to private equity houses and companies in the healthcare sector. Matthew also spent five years at Altium Capital, a mid-market corporate finance advisory house. He has a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Bath University.
Hobbies: Matthew enjoys travel and playing sports, particularly golf, tennis and squash. He is also a keen rugby fan.

Matthew Norrington - Investment Manager

Background: Matt graduated from The Queen's College, Oxford with an Honors degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Matt joined LDC in 2007. Previously he worked at Control Risks Group where his role was Corporate M&A and before that Matt worked for Deloitte providing commercial DD work to private equity clients.
Hobbies: Matt enjoys rowing, tennis, music and the occassional run.

Miles Frost
Background: Miles graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne with an Honors Degree in Politics. In 2006 he spent two months with LDC as an intern before joining the company in 2007.
Hobbies: Miles enjoys watching and playing football, cricket and tennis and, when forced will pick up a golf club. He is also an avid Arsenal fan.

Peter Brooks - Senior Director

Background: Graduated with an MSc in Management Science from Imperial collage and a postgraduate diploma in Marketing (Institute of Marketing) after a first degree in Environmental Science (Southampton). Peter has over 20 years experience in mid market UK private equity. He has completed over 25 direct transactions, undertaken two MBI's and been managing partner of a private equity business which he successfully turned around. Peter has strong experience in support / business services and outsourcing as well as buy & build / roll-outs. His numerous exits have included trade sales, secondary buy-outs and flotations.
Hobbies: Peter enjoys sailing, walking, and travel.

Richard Swann - Investment Director

Background: Richard joined LDC in 2005. Previously he was a partner at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen specialising in corporate finance advisory work. Richard has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from Warwick University.
Hobbies: Richard is an occasional marathon runner, competent skier and avid traveller.

Tony Nash - Investment Director

Background: Tony graduated with an Accountancy & Finance degree, before qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant with Lloyds TSB. Having been the Finance Director of LDC for six years Tony joined Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets as the Area Director for London. In this role he was responsible for a team managing banking relationships for clients with turnover in the region of £10m to £50m. He rejoined LDC in January 2006.
Hobbies: Tony enjoys all sports and is a particularly keen skier, runner, rower and golfer.

Yann Souillard - Director

Background: Yann joined LDC in 2004 after seven years at Barclays Leveraged Finance where he spent four years on the senior debt team before setting up and running the Mezzanine team. Prior to this Yann was a currency trader in New York. Yann has a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School of Business and grew up in Spain and Japan.
Hobbies: Yann enjoys the theatre, travel, and participating in a variety of sports activities.
