Experienced support

Non-executive chairmen (NECs) and non-executive directors (NEDs) are viewed by LDC as very important in adding value to investee companies. We are always looking for more high calibre NECs and NEDs for our investments.

We are interested in meeting experienced directors and senior executives seeking to strengthen their existing portfolio of activities. Successful NECs and NEDs will normally:

  • Have held Managing Director or Chief Executive status in a successful business.
  • Have non-executive experience and an excellent track record in creating shareholder value, ideally working on private equity backed investments, with the gravitas and experience to deliver strategic plans quickly and effectively.
  • Have experience in most, if not all, of the following areas:
    • business growth
    • business turnaround
    • mergers & acquisitions
    • post-acquisition integration
    • joint ventures
    • strategy development, planning and positioning
    • international markets
  • Be based in the UK.

Please note that we do not seek to place full-time roles through this route.
