Martin is responsible for sourcing and completing transactions in the £2million - £100million equity range, with a particular focus on the Southern High Growth sub £10m equity commitment.
Background:
Martin joined LDC in 2008. Prior to joining LDC Martin was the COO of a private equity backed marketing services business where he sold the business delivering a return of more than 3x.
Over the past 13 years he has held both corporate finance and operational roles. This includes an early career at Coopers & Lybrand working within business recovery and turnarounds, and senior roles at Rank Group plc where he was responsible for transactions with a total value in excess of £700million and Accord plc where he restructured the group and integrated new business worth £250million.
While at LDC Martin has supported the operations of Kylmar and Quantel, and currently sits on the board of ULS, a disruptive technology company focused on the legal services market. Martin has a focus on the technology sector.
