Background: After graduating from Southampton University with a degree in Politics and Economics, Edward served in the Royal Navy as a Navigating Officer and saw service Worldwide, concluding with a Naval appointment to the staff of a member of the Royal Family. On leaving the Navy, Edward joined Monitor Group and trained as a Strategy Consultant leading projects focused primarily on Corporate Strategy development with blue chip clients including Telecom Italia, Roche, De La Rue, Blue Circle, Centrica, Pearson, Deutsche Bank and BT. He then joined BT to support the development of a new Corporate Venturing Unit taking a leading role in launching the first business in the portfolio before joining Lloyds TSB in 2004 as Head of International Banking Strategy. Edward joined LDC's portfolio team in 2007.

Hobbies: Edward's spare time currently centres upon his young family. Interests include piping, music, sailing and most outdoor sports and activities.
