Background:
Carl graduated with a First Class Accounting & Finance Degree before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1992. Following eight years at KPMG he worked with London-based Capita Corporate Finance for a further two years where he was responsible for the M&A advisory practice which focused on buy and sell side transactions in the £5million - £75million range. Carl joined LDC in 2001 and is now responsible for the North West region having also spent time in Reading and London. His current board seats are Bifold, Direct Group, Marussia F1 Team, Mountain Warehouse and WRG. Recent exits include ANC and British Salt.
