John’s role in the Leeds team is predominantly looking after a number of portfolio businesses. He is also responsible for deal origination efforts in Yorkshire and the North East.
Background:
John spent time as an insolvency practitioner, corporate finance advisor, FD of a private equity backed textile group and for the last 15 years, a new business executive with LDC.
Since joining LDC he has invested in over 20 companies across a wide variety of sectors including software, printing, retailing, pharmaceuticals and aerospace engineering. He has also managed numerous successful exits selling to both trade and private equity acquirers and a successful flotation.
John currently sits on the board of four investments which include Eve Trakway and Quantum Pharmaceutical.
