Associated Dental Practices (ADP)
Associated Dental Practices (ADP)is now one of the fastest growing and dynamic provider of NHS dentistry in the UK with 122 practices serving 1.5 million patients across the country.
Deal Information
In December 2009, LDC invested alongside Palamon Capital Partners, AlpInvest Partners, and Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners in a secondary MBO of Associated Dental Practices Limited (ADP) in a transaction valued at £136million, which will enable the Company to build further upon its established network of practices through further consolidation of the dental market.
Established in 1985, ADP is the second largest provider of National Health Service dentistry in the UK. With 123 practices located across the UK, ADP now serves approximately 1.5 million patients nationally.
The ADP management buy-out team is being led by Chief Executive, Bharat Patel, who will continue to manage the business going forward. Since joining the Company in 2003, Mr Patel has overseen the growth of the Company from just 15 practices located within the South of England to a current total of 123 practices.
