Evander Group consists of one trading division – Evander Glazing and Locks (“EGL”), a nationwide market leading emergency response provider for glazing and locks.
Evander sold Chem-Dry, a disaster restoration company for escape of water damage, accidental damage, fire and flood to Ansa/Independent Inspections in January 2011 and Contents Services, a contents validation company to Direct Group in May 2010.

In September 2009, LDC completed an MBO of the Homeserve Emergency Services division from Homeserve plc. The business was re-branded as Evander Group. This was subsequently followed up with a growth capital investment alongside Bridgepoint Development Capital in November 2011.
EGL is the market leading provider of emergency glazing and locks services to the insurance and commercial sectors, with a capability and vision to diversify into social housing and B2C markets. It is the UK’s largest glazing and locksmith and employs over 300 tradesmen across its national network – providing a streamlined 24 hour/7 days per week service to its blue chip customer base.
