Value Added Reseller Trustmarque Solutions has recently announced that it has successfully earned a place on the important government IT procurement framework for Commoditised IT Hardware and Software (CITHS). Trustmarque is proud to unveil that it is one of just ten companies to be awarded a framework agreement for a position on the prestigious software supplier list which means they are awarded trusted and preferred advisers and providers status to both central civil government and the wider public sector.
Trustmarque Solutions was selected as a chosen partner for the public sector by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services. In succeeding in their bid, Trustmarque had to undergo a lengthy and robust process which saw them invest significant time and resources to prove their value against a line up of strong IT vendors. The assessment saw input from every member of the Trustmarque team mirroring the vast and diverse range of experience the organisation can impart to customers. The bid was managed in-house and Chief Executive Officer Scott Haddow comments that this success reflects Trustmarque’s determination:
“Being named in the 2010 CITHS framework agreement is a fantastic achievement for all concerned. We knew that we offered a best practice service allowing customers to achieve value and earning this public listing proves it. I am proud to announce that Trustmarque ranked highly amongst its competitors and when you see the quality of those not on this list, it demonstrates clearly the quality, depth and skillset we have. This underpins our ability and strength to give advice and professional guidance to bodies to allow them to make better use of their IT software and infrastructure.”
Chris Cliffe, Senior Project Manager, Buying Solutions adds:
“Following a fully EU-compliant and rigorous procurement process, we are delighted with the quality and variety of suppliers who have been awarded a framework agreement and are confident that these will provide an excellent service to our public sector customers, helping them to meet their IT procurement needs”
The public sector has always been at the heart of Trustmarque’s expertise and the company is well-known for being a leading voice in this arena having previously been on the Gcat/Catalist framework agreements. The CITHS framework replaces the IT Goods and Associated Services agreement and allows Trustmarque to sell to the public sector for the next three and a half years with the option for this to be extended to four. Being awarded a Buying Solutions framework agreement will mean Trustmarque continues to work heavily in the public sector, but Scott Haddow adds there are benefits for all of the business:
“Obviously to be a part of this framework means we are going to benefit financially and this news means we can continue our valued investment into our public sector business. Historically this market has been very important to us and with this new business we expect that significance to grow. We look forward to sharing the benefits of this renewed focus with our customers in the public sector.”
This renewed emphasis on the public sector also brings importance to Trustmarque’s private sector customers. Having been through such a stringent benchmarking process, customers from all markets can be assured of the company’s financial ability, history, track record and expertise as the Buying Solutions framework agreement proves it operates a quality business. Trustmarque will now be proactively going back to its public sector customers both past, present and potential to show how it can continually drive business value and deploy software to reduce cost. The contract win is a fantastic opportunity to prove how Trustmarque has the ability to step up and deliver wherever necessary in bringing the best solutions to all of its customers.
