LDC in the community

The relationship between business activity, community endeavours and personal development is at the heart of LDC. It is embodied in our Charter and guides our activities.

'LDC in the Community' is a unique expression of this and encompasses all of the work our teams undertake to support a number of regional and national charities. Over the past six years LDC has raised over £1.5million for worthwhile causes by undertaking personal challenges, team events and organised activities.

Supported Charities

As part of out on going charity commitments, for the last four years an LDC team has completed the London Marathon and over this period has successfully raised over £300,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Sponsorship

Mark Beaumont is LDC's Corporate Ambassador and is an adventurer and film-maker. Mark is a previous world record holder for the solo cycling circumnavigation of the world, he has also cycled between the two highest mountains in the Americas and he has rowed to the magnetic North Pole. Throughout the year Mark shares his winning passions that drive his to complete such feats of endurance at various LDC events.
