Scotland has two of LDC's more recent offices which were opened to support a vibrant and growing Scottish economy.
The team in Scotland was created to capitalise upon LDC's pre-existing activity in the region, which included the investment in West of Scotland based MB Aerospace (a recent exit to US investor Arlington Capital) and LDC’s fund commitment to Epi-V, a business that targets the oil and gas services sector.
In 2013, LDC Scotland signalled its commitment with the Aberdeen office completing the investment in Ramco Oil Services, a major service provider to the North Sea oil and gas industry in a deal which will support the business in its international expansion.
The five-strong team based in Aberdeen and Edinburgh is well placed to originate and support a greater flow of investment opportunities. This includes a specific focus upon the exciting and fast expanding oil and gas sector, alongside a clear mandate to invest in any growing Scottish businesses.
