LDC London - The Capital for Winning

Since 1981 LDC London has been at the heart of our private equity business.

With over 186 transactions under its belt LDC's team in London has access to a wealth of experience in a range of deals and sectors, and it is a record difficult to match. It is no surprise that LDC is the UK's market leader in the private equity mid-market.

The current team is an experienced mix of private equity professionals with expertise of both cross border and UK M&A activity. This team's focus is on completing transactions in the London marketplace targeting all types of support services, business services, outsourcing and appropriate cyclical industry businesses seeking MBO, IBO, equity release, development and acquisition capital requirements.

In the past two years LDC has delivered over £450million of equity to over 25 UK businesses, and this includes the London team's recent stakes in Easynet, Avelo, Mountain Warehouse and Sala International. The transactions confirmed LDC London's continued appetite for retaining our role as a key player in the private equity premiership.

Daniel Sasaki is the Managing Director for LDC in this region.

TMT is one of the most dynamic and fast-moving sectors and a range of factors are helping to drive growth and innovation.

The emergence of new products and services, computing in the cloud, tablet computing, a greater variety of software as a service are all driving expansion and also, to a certain extent, consolidation as bigger players try and assemble the right mix of new services and products.
