Since 1981 LDC London has been at the heart of our private equity business, with over 190 transactions under its belt LDC's team in London has access to a wealth of experience in a range of deals and sectors. It is no surprise that LDC is the UK's market leader in the private equity mid-market.
In the past five years, LDC London has delivered over £740million of equity to over 25 businesses. These transactions confirm LDC London’s continued appetite for retaining their role as a key player in the private equity arena.
The team’s focus is on completing transactions alongside ambitious management teams and targets all types of businesses but with an emphasis upon TMT, healthcare, retail & consumer and support services.
So far in 2013, LDC London have completed two deals in the retail & consumer sector, Fever-Tree and D&D London, both of which are premium brands in this space.
In 2012, London announced a £200million commitment to the TMT sector and five of their 2012 deals were in this sector including the £35million buyout of Ocean Outdoor, the leading operator of digital out of home advertising and the £7.1million P2P of Boom Pictures the UK’s most successful media production group.
