Matthew Solomon

Matthew Solomon a 13 year old Karter from Hong Kong China, is competing in this year's Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC). Additionally to gain further race experience, Matt has been competing in the Philippines National Championship that pits him against a strong field of local Filipino drivers. Matt's continued ambition is to race at the highest level of single seater competition, F1.

The winter’s preparation has seen Matt working with the talented Marc Hynes, whose expertise has seen the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen move on to the ultimate pinnacle of motor racing's achievements. Matt has just completed an intensive summer program with Paul Carr Racing in the UK, where he had the opportunity to drive with the some of the best drivers in Europe. With the support of Marc, Paul and Matt's team of partners, he hopes to follow in these great drivers footsteps.
