LDC in the community

The relationship between business activity, community endeavours and personal development is at the heart of LDC. It is embodied in our Charter and guides our activities.

'LDC in the Community' is a unique expression of this and encompasses all of the work our teams undertake to support a number of regional and national charities. Over the past six years LDC has raised over £1.3million for worthwhile causes by undertaking personal challenges, team events and organised activities.

Supported Charities

As part of out on going charity commitments, for the last four years. an LDC team has completed the London Marathon and over this period has successfully raised over £300,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Throughout 2011, our LDC ambassador Mark Beaumont, who is the previous world record holder for the solo cycling circumnavigation of the world and in 2010 also recently completed his 'Cycling the Americas' adventure which involved 13,000 miles of cycling and reaching the peaks of the two highest mountains in the Americas, will be sharing his winning passions that drives him to complete such feats of endurance at various LDC events.
