Since LDC's Bristol office opened in August 2008, the team have been supporting Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal which is the only charity fundraising exclusively for the Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Special Care Baby Unit) to provide comforts and facilities for patients and their families.

The team is looking forward to supporting this worthwhile charity which in turn will help The Royal Hospital for Children in Bristol make a real difference to the lives of sick children from Bristol and throughout the South West."

LDC Bristol took part in the Bristol Half Marathon on 6th September 2009 and raised £4,000 for the Grand Appeal. The Grand Appeal raises funds to support and enrich the lives of patients and their families in the hospital and current projects include a music, sensory and play therapy room, new parents accommodation facilities and syringe drives for the paediatric intensive care unit.
