In September the LDC Bristol team of Paul Oldham, Ian Podmore, Tracey Dempsey, Sophie Reed and Rob Pendleton, alongside colleagues Jonathan Caswell and Humphrey Walters completed the Bristol Half Marathon.

One of the biggest running events in the UK this half marathon attracted over 16,000 participants, and proved to be a great success for the city.

Running on behalf of the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal the team has managed to raise over £4,000 for a charity that supports Bristol Children's Hospital.

Bristol Children's Hospital treats over 70,000 children every year from Bristol and the South West region, and the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal fundraises continually to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by providing much needed additional facilities, comforts and state of the art equipment.
