On the 5th February 2009 LDC hosted the fourth LDC National Charity Quiz. It took place simultaneously at four venues across Britain (Leeds, London, Manchester and Nottingham). Unfortunately due to bad weather the Reading and Birmingham events were postponed until a later date.

Over 70 teams fought through six rounds of questions to be crowned LDC Quiz Champions 2009! Tenon Corporate Finance from the London quiz venue eventually overcame stiff opposition from a number of Leeds and London teams.

To enter, each team generously donated £500 with proceeds from the event going to a number of local and national charities - details of each charity are provided below. The total raised from this year's quiz is a fantastic £93,000.

In 2007 with your support we raised a staggering £105,000 which with previous year's contributions (£83,000 in 2006 and £61,000 in 2005) means that this event has already provided over £340,000 for a number of national and regional charities. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated in this year's charity quiz, and for those who have contributed in previous years - without your support we couldn't have raised such a phenomenal amount. |
