Walker Guidelines
LDC is committed to conforming to the Guidelines for Disclosure and Transparency in Private Equity, known as the "Walker Report" to promote transparency in the Private Equity industry and its major contribution to the UK economy.
As part of it's commitment, LDC has and will continue to provide information to the British Venture Capital Association ("BVCA") to enable the BVCA to analyse PE's economic impact and compare the superior returns provided by private equity as an outperforming asset class.
This Review provides a summary of the structure of the firm, information on LDC's 28 year history, and an overview of its activities in investing through the economic cycle and can be found by following these links:

LDC is a 'captive' private equity house, so it has only one investor, Lloyds Banking Group. Accordingly, conflicts between the interests of our investor and our management are relatively uncommon. However, to the extent these conflicts could arise, LDC has extensive, FSA-compliant procedures in place to manage them.
