Private equity less ordinary

LDC's approach to business is distinctive in the marketplace.

We work with management teams, advisors and partners to create a working relationship that is engaging, enjoyable and successful – we're an ambitious group after all. We find that business partnerships based upon mutual respect work best. They are also the ones that last longest, and once we've created a team that works, we're in it for the long term.

We also like to think independently. Using our initiative to find the best way forward rather than always traipsing down the road most travelled. But we're not reckless risk takers; after all, the success of your business is just as imperative to us as it is to you.

We find that our professional integrity is an excellent partner to our commercial approach to business. It's because we take a collective ownership of how we behave, take pride in the company we work for and strive to maintain consistently high standards. What it means is that with LDC you've found a driven business partner you can totally trust – and actually enjoy working with.

As we said, it's a distinctive approach. And it's one that works.

Accordingly, conflicts between the interests of our investor and our management are relatively uncommon. However, to the extent these conflicts could arise, LDC has extensive, FSA-compliant procedures in place to manage them.
